Longswordsman – Tier III Feudal Unit
Adds a Tier III Feudal unit to the game. Unit has two armor variations with different helmets and capes. I haven’t had time to actually play with the unit yet, so feedback is appreciated on it’s balance. It is meant to be very good vs. melee, but vulnerable to ranged attacks (expert swordsman with no shield..).
Abilities:
Frenzy
First Strike
Allround Awareness (can’t be flanked)
Slippery
Swift
Abilities will probably get reworked, especially if I can figure out how to create custom abilities. Also happy for suggestions on feedback.
Note that the unit name is still "Archer" in game. Will update later on.
I plan to eventually add a tier 3 unit to every culture and likely an extra tier 2 unit as well with a focus on maintaining each culture’s strengths and weaknesses rather than giving feudal more magic units for example.
