The A.I. Engineer commander profile grants a few researched breakthrough technologies at the beginning of the mission:
– Bonus tech: Autonomous Hubs and Sensors: Drone hubs and sensors no longer require power or maintenance
– Bonus tech: Superior Cables and Pipes: Instant, free and do not break!
– Bonus tech: Extractor AI: Metals Extractors and Rare Metals Extractors can work without crews at 50% performance.
– Bonus tech: Deep Scanning: Sectors can now be scanned the first time for deep deposits. Exploiting these deposits still requires additional technologies.
– Bonus tech: Superconducting Computing: Converts unused power into research points
