Description:

The Spartan is longest range and most advanced surface to air missile system from NNTC, and utilizes 16 of the new custom "Pike" missiles.

Tons of missiles, tons of chaff, tons of range.

Track targets out to 25km, and fire on them at 20. Utilizing exclusively new radars, this system is able to use smoothing and second order IIR digital noise filters to transmit stable and accurate target coordinates to the missile for midstage guidance. Within 1km, the missile picks up the target with its own radar. A true fox-3 missile.

Utilizing two-way datalink with the missile, the control station can provide a plethora of information about both the target and the missile. This information is even combined to plot the impact point of the missile on the map screen.

The system overall provides a new way to hold air targets at risk, as systems of this range are rare in stormworks.

To set up the system for fully automatic engagement, follow the following steps:
– Leave engine on.
– Raise launcher and deploy stabilizers.
– Turn on radar scan, auto engagement, master arm, and system power.

You can also use the system to engage ground targets using the keyboard and the "manual override" button.
