Have you ever heard of Sclavinia? The Fourth Daughter of the Holy Roman Empire… I’m not surprised you haven’t…

This mod focuses on 867 — specifically on little reworking Lechitic (Polish, Pomeranian, Polabian) tribes as same as whole West Slavdom (focusing on the said Lechits though) — especially by rearranging empires in the area, which both were bad and now are even worse and giving small historical-flavour events. There’s use on the mod for 1066 as well, yet it’s a bit constrained.

The mod gives a few goals in total:
  • For the West Slavs to unite their homeland under the Empire of Sclavinia to secure their people from oppression.
  • For the pre-feudal Poles to form their own kingdom and decide whether Coat of Arms the people will use, and to choose their attitude towards Christendom.
  • For the kings of Poland, reform the realm and resolve their conflicts with neighbouring Ruthenians, Lithuanians or Pomeranians… by conquers, of course.

List of changes and add-ons
  • Reorganisation of some Lechitic tribes (changed some territories, names of the high chiefs etc.) in 867 and 1066.
  • Coat of arms for Lechitic tribes’ houses and tribal names for them, which will convert to noble ones once converted to feudalism.
  • Events near key events like creating Poland, creating Sclavinia etc.
  • Cultural names for titles (counties etc.) of West Slavs.
  • Names for hybrid and new cultures (made of Polish).
  • New decisions after creating Kingdom of Poland referring to establishing historical voivodeships and provinces.
  • 6 historical-flavour events triggered after creating Kingdom of Poland or enacting the new decisions or Unifying the West Slavs.
  • Polish names to many titles in the east of Poland.
  • Reorganisation of the titles:
  • Cherverven Cities are renamed to …Gords and are de jure Polish duchy. In 867 has Lublin and Stężyca (from Lesser Poland) and is named Lendania, resembling the Lendians tribe.
  • Creating Kingdom of Polabia from Germany (Sorbia) and Pomerania. The western border is based on the Limes Sorbicae and Saxoniae. As effect, duchies within has been edited. The kingdom appears in 867 and 1066 (by the rules of the game a kingdom must be fully controlled to be drifted upon creating HRE — Polabia wasn’t).
  • Creating Empire of Lechia that consists Poland, Pomerania and Polabia.
  • Creating kingdoms of Prussia and Latvia from Lithuania and all 3 of them being parts of Empire of Baltia.
  • Creating Kingdom of Transdanubia from Hungary in 867. Edited duchies within.
  • Creating Duchy of Hont from Duchy of Nitra. In 867 it’s part of Kingdom of Great Moravia, in 1066 of Hungary. Editing said two duchies, expanding them to the east (so they consist the Sloven counties)
  • Creating Empire of Samonia that consists Greater Moravia, Transdanubia and Bohemia (in 867 only).
  • Possibility of creating Empire of Sclavinia: In 867 it consists: Poland, Pomerania, Polabia, Bohemia, Great Moravia, Transdanubia and Carinthia (Kingdom of Carinthia is created as effect of the decision); in 1066 it consists: Poland, Pomerania, Polabia, Bohemia and Nitra (Kingdom of Nitra is created as effect of the decision). Depending on who is the unifier (which Polish tribe or which non-Polish nation), the color, capital or CoA of Empire of Sclavinia will change.
  • Unification of the West Slavs results with renaming Empire of Slavia to Empire of Omnisclavinia (All-Slavia; actually Slavia should be Sclavinia itself).
  • Drifting kingdoms of Bjarmaland and Vladimir to Empire of Volga Ural in 867 and 1066 so there’s not Slavia and Russia at once in the map anymore.
  • Possibly more, but that’s all I remember
Compability

The mod may not be compatible with every mod, because it modifies a few existing scripts (for example the scripted effect for Adopt Feudal Ways…).
Also, after a brief check of the files and in game of Baptism of Rus mod, it seems the mods are 100% compatible!

Plans:
  • Historical-flavour event about meeting of Poles and Hungarians.
  • More coat of arms for eastern counties that can become part of de jure Kingom of Poland
  • The same events and mechanics for kingdoms of Pomerania and Polabia (now it’s Poland focused).
  • Submod that shifts baronies between counties to make them being much more fitting for established voivodeships.
  • Bookmarks for 867 and 1066.
  • Little reworks of West Slav cultures’ traditions.
  • Possibilty to turn Sclavinia into a province of Holy Roman Empire.
