Siwan’s Exhibition
Welcome to Siwan’s Exhibition! If you would like to overhaul your loading screens, this is the ironman friendly mod for you. Siwan’s Exhibition is a simple mod that replaces the vanilla loading screens with over 200 new loading screens! These include a variety of paintings and artworks that depict period-appropriate realms and cultures from across the world. This mod also replaces the gameplay tips featured on loading screens with 200 historical quotes! Please let post suggestions or feedback in the comments section below. I hope you enjoy!
While this mod is based on and incorporates SleepyLion’s 50 Loadingscreens mod, I’ve added another 100 loading screens that primarily depict non-European scenes and peoples for added variety and representation, as SleepyLion’s mod largely focused on Europe. All new loading screens were selected by hand to ensure they matched the quality of SleepyLion’s mod and to ensure they fitted in (with some being ported from Felipe’s amazing Gorgeous Loading Screens mod).
Likewise, while the mod is also based on Prexoss’s Historical Quotes on Loading Screen mod, I added another 150 quotes, which largely draw from royals, politicians, generals, philosophers and authors from across the world, not just Europe.
This mod also includes a new splash screen- if you wish to use it, you’ll need to copy init.bmp from the mod’s loading screen folder into the main loading screen folder of the game (gfxloadingscreens) directly so it replaces it.
