Mk.52 Deadbolt (25mm)
The Mk.52 "Deadbolt" RC turret has three different design modes: Single Point Snake (SPS) mode, which fires 6 rounds at 1200 RPS and then requires a trigger pull to fire the next round; Low Rate Full Auto (LRFA) mode, which fires at a rate of approximately 300 rounds per minute; Combat Arms Fire Rate (CAFA) mode, which fires at a rate of approximately 300 rounds per minute; and Combat Arms Fire Rate (CAFA) mode, which fires at a rate of approximately 1,000 RPS and requires a trigger pull to fire another round. (LRFA), with a rate of fire of approximately 300 rounds per minute in full-auto mode; Combat Arms Fire Rate (CAFA), with a rate of fire of approximately 750 rounds per minute in full-auto mode; and Extreme Intercept Fire Rate (EIFA), with a rate of fire of approximately 1,500 rounds per minute.
In addition to its unparalleled rate of fire and amazing accuracy, the Mk.52 Deadbolt has a quick maintenance/repair hatch that allows the system to be fully loaded, maintained, and the barrel replaced in less than 15 minutes by just two sailors. In addition, the system’s Modular Adapt System can be optionally fitted with a 12.7MM coaxial machine gun, or a 7.62MM/8.6MM caliber coaxial machine gun and an MK-19 fully automatic grenade launcher to meet the firepower requirements of a small patrol boat/fireboat.
In addition to its firepower, the Mk.52 Deadbolt has inherited all the advantages of its predecessor, the Mk.38. The system is equipped with a high-definition night-vision/thermal-imaging electro-optical probe with 1x-55x magnification and 1920×1080 resolution, as well as a swept laser rangefinder for high-speed moving targets. The gun mount is stabilized by a two-axis frame + three-axis stabilized gimbal system to provide shot state stabilization and shot stabilization. In addition, a Raytheon "FastScan" gallium nitride millimeter wave AESA radar is installed to facilitate the rapid positioning of incoming or moving targets.
Mk.52“镇魂”遥控炮塔防御系统为白星合众国海军开发的一款三管加特林机炮舰载武器系统，旨在替代上一任Mk.38 MGS 25MM舰载武器系统。旨在为水面舰艇/小型机动快艇提供一种针对高速移动的水面目标/浮动水雷/敌军蛙人/沿岸敌军人员/车辆的快速响应对抗手段，此炮塔为一种低成本武器，该系统相较于上一代Mk.38 MGS，增加了同时具备手动瞄准/人操光电瞄准/毫米波相控阵雷达主动寻敌能力，除此之外，该系统首次添加数据链联动功能，在与携带MK-15“密集阵”近程防御武器系统时，可以与MK-15进行数据链联动，共同对抗末端来袭目标。
Mk.52”镇魂“遥控炮塔由通用动力学院的Mk.301 25MM海军型3管加特林机枪组成，Mk.301是M61“火神”的轻量化、三管扩口径型版本。原定为RAH-66”科曼奇“武装直升机的武器系统。然而随着RAH-66项目取消，XM301也暂缓了研发。不过在进入新的对抗纪元和对Mk.38的升级需求，海军重启了XM301的研制生产并命名为XM301N。它亦如“火神”般，依靠相同的电力输送系统作外部供电驱动。它发射白星军队在“火神”以上所使用的25mm口径弹药或PGU系列电子击发弹药（Electrically Primed Ammunition），以及新型轻量X1031／1032铝套管弹药。海军型号的XM301相比原版更换了耐腐蚀的重型炮管，同时增加身管厚度和后方固定装置，相较于原版XM301再度提升了50%的精度，达到了惊人的1.1MOA。由于不用担心直升机武器系统的体积问题，Mk.301采用了双轨供弹系统，两套弹药箱分别存储1500枚弹药，射击状态下可在停火后一键切换弹种。
Mk.52”镇魂“遥控炮塔具备三种不同的设计模式，单点蛇模式，一次性以1200RPS的速度射出6发弹药后需再次扣动扳机才能发射下一轮弹药；低速全自动模式（LRFA），射速约每分钟300发全自动射击；战斗射速（CAFA），射速约每分钟750发全自动射击模式；以及极限拦截模式（EIFA），射速约为每分钟1500发。
除了无与伦比的射速，令人啧啧称奇的高精度，Mk.52”镇魂“还具备有快捷维护/维修舱门，只需要两名水手就能在15分钟内完成该套系统全部的装填，维护，炮管置换工作。除此之外，系统的多用途安装系统（Modular Adapt System）可以另外选择安装一门12.7MM同轴机枪，或选择同时安装一门7.62MM/8.6MM口径同轴机枪和一门MK-19全自动榴弹发射器，以满足小型巡逻艇/火力艇的火力需求。
强大的火力之外，Mk.52”镇魂“也继承了前辈Mk.38的全部优点。系统配有一个具备高清夜视仪/热成像功能的光电探头，放大倍率1x-55x，分辨率为1920X1080，同时具备一具频扫式激光测距仪以应对高速移动目标。炮架由两轴架+三轴稳定式云台系统提供射击状态稳定和射击防抖。此外，还安装有一具雷神公司提供的”快扫（FastScan）“氮化镓有源相控阵毫米波雷达以方便对来袭目标或移动目标的快速定位。
