Description:

This mod makes colonization in general much slower. I always hated seeing Australia fully colonized in 1700, and California completely taken in 1720. This will keep the world a little more sensical. This mod changes the colonization speed depending on what region/continent a province is located in, using modifiers.

Modifiers:
-South America: +10
-Caribbean: +3
-Central America: 0
-North Africa: -7
-Eastern North America: -10
-Middle North America: -15
-Africa: -15
-Oceania/Indonesia: -15
-Western North America: -40

In Addition, the Protestant Reformation and your religious stability also play a role. If Religious Unity is low enough, a country’s settler count will increase, if high enough, it will decrease. As soon as one country in Europe adopts Protestantism, each country’s settler count will increase.

I didn’t plan on releasing it, since I made it just for my own purposes.

There are some balancing issues, but in all it feels pretty good. I will keep updating to balance it better.
