This formidible designed starship is the heart of your fleet. The Durandal’s role is to play as the heavy hitting juggernaut pulling enemies in with its twin tractor beams and shredding them with multiple munition types. With the fleet beacon and munition plants on board it can supply ammo/missile fighters and lead them into battle. Travelling at 44 m/s it relies on supporting vessels to prevent kiting.
It sports 18 cannons, 4 Large Cannons, and 7 Deck Cannons as its main batteries. It is supported by 2 Flak Cannons and 22 Point Defence. The 12 Ion Beams provide focused damage on weakpoints.
This Juggernaut doesnt come cheap with a price tag over 3.4 million and good luck maxing the crew at 636 crew members. However once this ship is fully functional, this monster will cut deep into any enemy you cross in the void.
