Custom NPC Auto-Tweaker
This addon attempts to tweak and fix some errors the custom NPCs that are HL2-based have. This includes them not using any voicelines, not spawning with any default weapons, and etc.
Feature List:
- Have you ever noticed that the Citizen-based NPCs are only able to play their death sound? Yeah, this one is fixed.
- Alongside the above, it also tries to make them use the corresponding voicetypes by determining their animation set. For example, male custom NPC using male voicelines and vice versa. This might get weird if the NPC uses incorrect animations sets!
- Apparently other than these two above, they also have a specific facial expressions sets that are only present in base ones: Normal, Scared, and Angry. This addon restores this to custom ones.
- Automatically assigns NPCs with no squadnames to a default fallback ones. You might wanna turn this off if you have an already similar functioning addon!
- Gives NPCs that don’t have any weapons assigned to them/have misspelled ones(see thumbnail) the default HL2 ones.
