Description:

"Loneliness in the embrace of you, autumn night
The night that froze my cries
Deep into the woods glows a fading light
I sold my soul, cold as ice"

–Dissection, Night’s Blood

This mod adds the Dragonplate Armor set as cosmetic parts for both genders, as well as most of the Dragonbone Weaponry set as a series of ghost templates (see below).

The armor is separated into the Helmets, Torso, Left/Right Arm, Legs, and Shoulder categories, but less for mixing and matching (you can do that with the pauldrons though) and more to optimize asset loading by putting everything into separate .UPKs so it doesn’t have to load everything at once.

The helmet has a variant featuring covered eye holes, which can be used with a prop that covers the rest of the face for total facial obscurity. Capnbub’s Accessories has good options for this.

Tint wise, nothing here is tintable, i didn’t see a point to it when this stuff is so monochromatic, and when the only points of tintability i could have put in are on all the bone bits, which i doubt would look good with any color that isn’t bone-like.

The armor is very open around the shoulders, and you can see the side profile of the wearer’s upper torso through it, which also applies to the Females.
However, there’s nothing ‘problematic’ involved, i re-used the Male arms and torso for the females as i was lazy felt like it was… in character? for the females wearing this set to be more well-built than usual.
I also cut out most of the front side of the chest as it wasn’t visible anyway.

The weaponry featured in this pack are a series of ghost templates that use Iridar’s Template Master to function, so you’ll need some extras to make use of them:

If you use XSkin, the ‘Owned’ filter needs to be turned off to actually see the weapons in the re-skin menu, as the player doesn’t technically ‘own’ the weapons as they’re ghost templates.

REQUIREMENTS / SUGGESTIONS:

KNOWN ISSUES:
  • I made the loincloth follow the legs instead of giving it physics just to see how it’d turn out, and it looks fine in most cases, but in animations where the legs have a wide spread it can cause some stanky texture warping.
