I am NOT a terrain editor, this is NOT my map. This was a project I was working on to overhaul the map below to do a few things- remaster it, update it, tweak it, and most importantly… make a map that gives a realistic 1960 start where you dont have to spend the first 5 years building foundations. The entire map was remastered but the only near complete remaster is the main city of cherno, the changelogs will have more detailed information

What’s changed?
  • Completely working and ready to move into Chernogorsk. (Not the entire map, just cherno)
  • Plenty of industry added
  • Some of the resources tweaked to be a bit more balanced
  • Air fields added (besides balota)
  • Railroad was slightly tweaked to be more accurate to the map but still playable
  • A LOT of harbors, few warehouses, a few gas stations (but not all), and a few more additions
  • Cherno now has a cement/concrete industry, clothing, distillery, and more
  • A lot more buildings for residents
  • 1:1 power hookups (excluding an export line that was added to kamenka) This means you have a power plant to start with!

Duly note- there are things you dont have, biggest thing being heat… so expanding requires a new factory. and other things.

Map’s focus

It’s 1960; In Czech, you get some starting equipment just like the last leader did, lead Cherno to its modern glory!
This map was as mentioned before- made for realism mode. You start with a construction office, a town with proper sewage, water, and electricity.
This map is made to bring a easier start to realism, although you have factorys, buildings, and hookups… expanding isnt easy… and your hardest challenge will be getting trains running as your rail infrastructure is ass. This means your easiest export options are boats and trucks. Thankfully, the last guy bought an old russian cargo ship… but its a bit worn out.

This map will be hard if you choose to start with population as many towns have hookups to services; however, Cherno and somewhat elektro should be okay and they will not flee the country.

Elektro requires a tech building in order to water and pump sewage (this will be changed in the future)
