UNcappedRAVEN’S Reshade Preset collection

"UNcappedRAVEN’S Reshade preset collection" is a collection of Reshade presets with a wide range of different effects and customisation options. These presets are all created by me and specifically for RAVENFIELD. They are the result of over a hundred hours spent in game tweaking each to my specific taste. Although there are a lot of options here, you might also need to make some adjustments yourself to match your ideal look for the game and/or your performance requirements.
UNcappedRAVEN’s Classic Preset REDUX An updated version of the original UNcappedRAVEN preset with improvements to the tone mapping and bloom as well as colour. The changes reduce the high contrast issues and excessive Bloom. Also added lens dirt/flares.
UNcappedRAVEN’s Basic "hoider" style Reshade preset
This preset is inspired by the one used by hoidersan in his mod showcase screenshots.
It is a basic preset that adds some light effects to the game like lens dirt and basic tone mapping as well as shadows to weapons and hands using mxao
It is inspired by the one used by the mod maker known as ‘hoidersan’ in his ‘EXTAS’ mod showcase screenshots.
This preset also has a much lighter performance impact.
UNcappedRAVEN’s Extremely Cinematic preset
This is an excessively cinematic preset that adds high contrast, filmic tonemapping as well as lens dirt and other classic Hollywood like visual effects. A bit over the top for playing but a great preset for screenshots.
UNcappedRAVEN’s Extremely Cinematic PLUS 1 and 2 preset
Current, updated versions of the cinematic preset seen in my videos.
These presets are the same as Extremely Cinematic but with some tweaking to improve bloom and some color-correction. Colors are brighter with more range and depth. Has a much less gritty feel than the original and is better for more colorful maps. 2.0 is the current version of the cinematic preset seen in my videos.
UNcappedRAVEN’s BADLANDS SCRATCH
A Reshade preset inspired by a mix of "out of action" and "borderlands" gives a stylized, almost anime/cartoon look to the game with some light Cel shading effects.
UNcappedRAVEN’s BADLANDS ACTION
A second Reshade preset inspired by a mix of "out of action" and "borderlands" gives a stylized look to the game. This one uses two different shaders and has an even bigger effect on the look of the game making everything look cel shaded. It is a similar but different effect to ‘BADLANDS SCRATCH’ and looks better on brighter maps.
1. Before you begin installing this mod you will need to download and install Reshade.
This can be done by going to the reshade website and downloading the installer.
Then running the launcher, selecting Ravenfield, DX 10,11 and 12, and then installing all of the shader packages.
2. Subscribe to this mod on the workshop as normal and go to C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent6364803159463695 folder.
In this folder you can fined all the presets in this collection. Their current extensions will all be .txt but you will need to change the ones you wish to install to .ini files by renaming them (make sure show file extensions setting is on in your File explorer).
3. copy and paste the renamed config files into the common folder where Ravenfield is installed (found by right clicking RAVENFIELD in steam -> manage -> browse local files).
4. Once both reshade and the config files are inside the ravenfield folder, you can launch the game.
5. Once you open the game you will need to flip the depth map, to do this click the "Home" key to open the reshade menu and make sure performance mode is off. Then click on "edit global preprocessor definitions" and make sure all the "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS…" values are set to 1.
Performance:
Reshade’s impact on your performance will vary depending on your hardware and the shaders you are currently using, I recommend only using reshade if you have at least a gtx1650 or 100+ fps running the game normally with 60+ bots but it will work with less, on a decent gpu most presets will probably have a very small performance impact.
UNINSTALLING
Uninstalling reshade is the exact same as downloading it, just select ravenfield in the reshade launcher again and there will be an option to uninstall.
