Description:

This addon contains all of the TF2 Mercenaries, with lot of new flexes! You can change the shape of their heads to make a different style characters or just make their faces cursed as hell 💀
But at the same time – those models are almost the same as the original TF2 HWM ragdolls! I usually use Flex Scale 10, but sometimes it’s 5. With those numbers you will be able to make a really broken and most beautiful faces 🙂

Just find my models in "Addon" folder "Advanced TF2 Characters | New Flexes", or search for "adv_" models.

Those models also have new Bodygroups so you can turn off:

  • Heavy: Bullets
  • Medic: Glasses
  • Sniper: Glasses and Little Pocket on the chest

Better use my another addon, called Improved Faceposer | TF2 Edition, so you will be able to filter new bones, turn them off to use Randomize button and make lot of new things with it!

Those models are using my own Physics (I called Better Phys v3). There’s no phys bones for pockets, Scout’s dogtag, necks and toes. So If you really want to use your own Physics, just rename all yours .phy files in models/player/hwm folder to adv_*merc*.phy (like adv_scout.phy).

I created those models at the end of 2021, and I was fixing them a lot. I deleted all of the unused flexes, added lot of useful flexes, changed the names of them and order in a list, so you will know what to do when you’ll see those models for the first time!

Some deep details: Did you know, that wrinkle and stretch maps on Character’s faces are built into those models? To do this I took the original .DMX files from Source SDK folder, but those models was very old! So I converted the last models from TF2 game to .SMD, and using it – created my own .DMX files with wrinkle and stretch maps in it! So all the default flexes are stored in .DMX files, but my new flexes are stored in .VTA files! So in .QC file it looks like I used .DMX models as the default, and then I added new flexes with .VTA files on the top! So the process of adding new flexes was not that hard, but being able to make stretch wrinkle map work, and add glowing teeth into my models – was the hardest thing. And only with the huge help of "Maxxy" I finally made it work!

Models I used in Pissmas Miracle are not the same! I downloaded those Spies from Workshop:
[TF2] Enhanced Spy Ragdoll

Huge thanks to:
Maxxy – helped to finally make it work after a week of nothing
CrazyScoutFIN – Alpha and Beta tests and lot of fun with faces he made
Evan Purr – fixed a really annoying glitch with broken Normal/Smoothing Maps and Shadows
