Description:

Tired of sending your 20k stack from Europe to south Africa only to find you inexplicably lost 10k troops on the journey? It hasn’t always been like this.

Open sea used to be basically the same as coastal sea for sailor and manpower attrition, but thanks to dev changes you literally can not go through even the ‘Bay of Biscay’ sea tile without losing 10% of your troops, as 10% will be wiped the instant your transports enter any open sea tile.

CHANGE LIST :

This mod reduces coastal sea attrition & open sea attrition for armies on transports and ships themselves.

Coastal sea army attrition down from 1% per month to 0%
Open sea army attrition down from 10% to 0%

"The naval attrition is no longer increased by staying out at sea each month" tech perk is moved from diplo tech 22 (limes) to diplo tech 4 (marketplace). This should make sailor attrition on ships less drastic when embarking on longer journeys, from the beginning of the game rather than a perk unlocked around 1680 at tech 22.
