What is Open Arma?
Open Arma is an ongoing project to make lightweight-yet-versatile sandboxes for Arma’s terrains, both vanilla and modded. Create your own operations, take some guns to the range, practice CQC in a killhouse, and more. Playable with up to 16 players.
Features
– Playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer up to 16 people
– Dynamic sandstorms, script courtesy of RickOShay
– All units have access to Zeus allowing for on-the-fly mission creation
– Units can call for artillery, CAS, helicopter transports, and supply drop (complete with attached virtual arsenal for immersive mid-mission resupply)
– A functional shooting range with various types of targets
– A killhouse with pop-up targets to pratice close-quarters combat

Suggested Mods
KA Virtual Arsenal Anywhere
While not a direct requirement, a mod that allows you to change your gear on the fly is essential. If you use ACE3, be sure to use the Arsenal mod listed below.
Vana – Loadout Management
Combined with a vanilla Virtual Arsenal mod of your choice, Vana makes managing all of your various loadouts much more organized and painless. Highly recommended.
IA ACE Virtual Arsenal Anywhere
If you use ACE, it’s suggested to use this one instead. It uses the improved ACE Virtual Arsenal instead of the vanilla one, with added functionality and less bugs.
Achilles
Since it’s likely you’ll be spending a lot of time in Zeus while playing through Open Arma, Achilles is an excellent expansion to the Zeus functionality and is highly recommended.
VSM – All in One
VSM has splendid gear that works beautifully with the dry environment of Afghanistan. Some of the highest quality assets a mod can provide.
