Veil Hive
"Attention Traveler! Thanks to our tech hunters’ perilous expeditions into the unknown, we at the University of Machinist have made an astonishing discovery: the discovery of a new Hive!
Referred to internally as the "Veil Hive" among us academicians, this new hive is a reclusive hive said to be endemic of the Burning Forests of the Southern Continent. Their most notable feature is their brightly coloured skin, thought to be an example of warning colouration. Despite the bright colours they are incredibly illusive, having rarely if ever been seen, with eyewitness accounts being so few and far between that most drifters believe them to be nothing more than a children’s ghost story."
Adds a new hive race, the Veil Hive, to kenshi. Includes:
– Veil Hive Prince
– Veil Hive Soldier Drone
– Veil Hive Worker Drone
– Veil Hive Queen
– Edited shirts to accommodate new hive hive race specific restrictions
– New game start involving lots of… frogs?
NOTE: – NOT ADDED TO WORLD SPAWNS! They are only added as a starter race, along with a lighthearted game start.
– Because they are a new race, you will need to make your own animation patch if you want them to use modded animations
– The Queen texture, especially the head, is kinda ♥♥♥♥, so I might redo them later (the base game queen UVs are kinds wack). But for now, it’s "good enough"

Also note the armour in the screenshots is not included in this mod. This is just a standalone release of the Veil Hive race. I’m working on a much larger mod project that expands the Veil Hive into a minor faction, along with a bunch of other changes and edits focused in the South, so stay tuned! A WIP release should hopefully be ready soon.
