Day Carnival Skybox & Color Correction
This is a skybox and color correction mod for Dark Carnival that makes the campaign appear to be at daytime. To be clear, this is a mod for the base Dark Carnival campaign, it is not a separate campaign like Sunrise Carnival, Carnival Remaster, or Dark Carnival Daytime (demo). The skybox used is from Informal Skyboxes by Descarado. The color correction alone, without the skybox, is shown in the images section. If people like it, I may release it separately.
Please note that this is a mod to the stock Dark Carnival map. It does not actually change the map’s parameters from night to day, as that would require recompiling the map. It only takes on the appearance of a map in daylight. This is for all intents and purposes an experimental mod. As with other night campaigns, there is no visible sun entity and witches will still be sitting instead of wandering.
This will only affect Dark Carnival. It may unintentionally affect some custom campaigns that use Dark Carnival’s color correction and skybox. The color correction may look better on a different skybox. If you have a suggestion for any other skybox to use, let me know and I will check it out.
