Field Artillery Radar Aistyonok by Nerexis
Aistyonok Radar Mod for Arma 3 (BETA)
Overview
Inspired by the Aistyonok radar system used by the Russian Armed Forces, this mod introduces a portable counter-battery radar for detecting and calculating the trajectory of incoming projectiles. Developed by Nerexis, the owner of the ADRENALINE ArmA MilSim gaming community, the mod aims to enhance realistic military simulation gameplay.
Features
GPS Integration: Projectiles will be displayed on the standard map if the player has a GPS item equipped.
Note: The artillery computer view won’t show projectiles; only firing positions will be marked.
Sound Notifications: Players will receive auditory alerts for new projectile detections.
Directional Detection: The radar only detects projectiles in front of it and requires a clear line of sight, free from obstacles that could disrupt the radio signal.
Operational Range: Capable of detecting projectiles up to 5km away.
Data Sharing: Projectile information will be shared based on the side affiliation of the vehicle.
