Global Resource Effects
Specialty resource buildings now give a global bonus to reflect how these resource are distributed into the nation.
Please ignore that the tooltips in the screenshot mention artillery twice, it has been fixed.
Shogun 2:
– Iron gives a cost reduction to all land units.
– Wood reduces non-castle building construction costs as well as ship construction costs.
– Stone gives a slight decrease in non-castle building construction costs and a bigger reduction in castle construction costs.
Genpei:
– Iron gives a cost reduction to all land units.
– Wood reduces all building construction costs as well as ship construction costs.
Boshin:
– Clay reduces all building construction costs
– Iron gives a cost reduction to artillery and iron-plated ships
– Copper gives a cost reduction to modern units and copper-plated ships
– Coal slightly decreases the upkeep of all ships.
