WOLF Of Tribute Project CASTLE
ArmA III "CASTLE" is a Vanilla inspired mod bringing forth a couple new factions based in the 2030s to 2040s.
This project, while having no dependencies is designed to work alongside mods like AEGIS, AEW, TEC CSAT or any other mod that is Vanilla based.
This mod is the first of a series of mods set in a slightly alternate version of the ArmA 3 universe (Namely CSAT is more diverse, not space bugs)
A map is planned but will be much later in the mods life cycle
Factions:
Kingdom of Siorai: BLUFOR
-Subfactions: Siorai Royal Army, Siorai UN peacekeepers, Siorai Freeblades
The Kingdom of Siorai is a strange case in the world. A mix of various nationalities sesiding under one banner in the heart of the north sea. The history of the island kingdom as a separate entity dates back to the time of the viking invasion of the british isles where it became a staging ground, and later a trading hub for many cultures namely the Celtic, Germanic, and Nordic. Even Christianity could not achieve a full conversion of the Island’s population with their religion to this day is a localized hybrid of Christianity and the pegan religions. The only thing that protected them from beeing deemed heretics was their feats during the crusades. To this day they still function under the original royal families and noble houses of the kingdom, and to some outsiders is nicknamed the "Perfect Kingdom" where it’s people almost have no issue with the monarchy, whom the royal family and noble houses are highly involved in the everyday life. The nobles of the kingdom are known to put effort into keeping the nation going and happy while members of the royal family, including the current king, would go out and actually mingle with the people. The social classes mean little to the nation and they promote competition to keep the economy flowing. They are also a proud military like culture where most citizens are involved one way or another with the military.
The Freeblades, a Subfaction of the Siorai Royal Army, is comprised solely of Loyalist members of the fallen House Galliard and are fiercely loyal in their attempts to regain their honor. They are a specialist assault force by modern times. (Not Yet implemented)
Venerable House Galliard: OPFOR
House Galliard is known to be the only stain on the Kingdom of Siorai’s history. During WWII House Galliard secretly sided with the Axis powers while the rest of the nation was sided with the Allies. House Galliard would give intel to the Nazi party resulting in the loss of all but one of the knight houses of the kingdom during the war. They were caught red handed by the last Knight house, House Dunwall (whom would later form the Royal Guard) and a mass exodus of their people from the island to germany happened. But by the wars end they found themselves in a rough spot. The Soviet union took them in and they hid and worked on regaining their strength in what is now Belarus. They would not be seen in any strength until years after the end of the Soviet Union. Belarusian authorities treated them as an independant but protected entity which led to rising tensions between the Belarusian government and the Kingdom of Siorai. It would not be until the formation of CSAT however that things began to turn to the worst. When Belarus joined, House Galliard became a CSAT supported entity that was in their eyes whom CSAT believed should be ruling the Sioran people. Tensions would begin to rise as incidents with both Belarus and militant forces believed to be associated with house Galliard began to rise
