Description:

Reworks siege warfare, adds dozens of new City Defenses and Siege Projects, and brings a new layer of strategic depth to the game!

There are a total of 14 defensive city structures and 13 siege projects available to all factions in Expanded Sieges.

All new City Defenses and Siege Projects in this mod can also be used by the AI!

New City Structures

City Watch (Garrison Structure)
Drafts two Archers on the defender’s side during a defensive siege.
+5 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 3

War Hound Cages (Battlements Structure)
Releases three War Hounds near the battlements during a defensive siege.
+5 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 3

Pitfall Traps (Engineering Structure)
Adds the Distracted attribute to all Caltrops, making units that step on them vulnerable to flanking damage from all sources.
+5 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 3

Siege Workshop (Garrison Structure)
Deploys a controllable Trebuchet on the defender’s side during a defensive siege.
+5 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 3

Fire Spouts (Engineering Structure)
Adds a single-use Fire Breath ability to all Towers, allowing them to spray jets of fire at incoming attackers.
+10 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 4

Hospital (Support Structure)
Grants Regeneration to all defending units during a defensive siege.
+10 Fortification Health
Requires Stone Walls and Town Hall Tier 4

New Siege Projects

Bribe Garrison (Siege Project)
Damages the Garrison Defense Structures in the city. No garrison effects will be present to aid the defender in battle.
+2 Fortification Damage
100 Gold

Steal City Blueprints (Siege Project)
Damages the Engineering Defense Structures in the city. No engineering effects will be present to aid the defender in battle.
+2 Fortification Damage
+100 Mana

Construct Trebuchets (Siege Project)
Adds two Trebuchet units to the attacker’s side until the end of the siege.
+4 Fortification Damage
300 Gold

Relentless Assault (Siege Project)
Units besieging the city take 10 Physical Damage at the start of combat.
+3 Fortification Damage
No Cost

Hire Sappers (Siege Project)
Speeds up a siege at the cost of gold.
+4 Fortification Damage
100 Gold

Arcane Bombardment (Siege Project)
Speeds up a siege at the cost of mana.
+4 Fortification Damage
100 Mana

Scale the Walls (Siege Project)
Speeds up a siege at the cost of a Siege Project slot.
+2 Fortification Damage
No Cost
