Description:

Research blueprints instead of having to find them!

This is a Quality of Life mod created to circumvent having to find all the blueprints in the world of Kenshi and purchasing them just to be able to craft that weapon or armour type.

Changes
  • Added Armour and Weapons categories to the Tech Tree for ease of access to the new Trees.
  • Choose Which Armours and Weapons you wish to Research to prevent Crafting Clogging.
  • Modified some of the prerequisite research costs since it is no longer repeated tiers.
    (This change was because of v.2 of this mod, that gave you everything upon researching multiple times, whereas now you can choose what sets you want.)
  • Faction Armours require you to research every other Smithing prerequisite (Leather, Plate, Simple, Hats) to their max, before you are able to research it.
  • Each weapon type can now be researched instead of having to buy and find them in the world.
    (You still have to reach the Tech Level and Prerequisites for some, so if they aren’t there, try teching up.)

    None of the blueprints have been replaced by the research, and can still be found and bought in the world, this only adds another option to the mix.

  • The Knowledged Wanderer game start, starts you off with all weapon and armour types already unlocked, and is otherwise untouched and is played the same as the normal Wanderer game start.

Notes

This is my first time making a Kenshi mod, there may be bugs, issues, and errors that arise. If this happens please leave a comment and let me know what happened so that I can fix it right away! If you think I am missing any Clothing, or Armour pieces please also let me know and I will try to add them to the list!
