Description:

All 3 production versions of the F-14 Tomcat produced by Grumman. The A ‘Tomcat’ and D ‘Super Tomcat’ being native to Ace Combat 7, while the B ‘Bombcat’ is a simple edit using the two existing models to make it.
They’ve also had the longest dev cycle of any of these planes so far, originally having been made for LFS, but LVS was much better suited.

The ‘A’ Variant can carry 98 Missiles, 2400 gun rounds, and 26 alternate missiles.
The ‘B’ Variant can carry 104 Missiles, 2400 gun rounds, and 14 bombs.
The ‘D’ Variant can carry 104 Missiles, 2400 gun rounds, and 22 alternate missiles.
Based on the mix of the loadouts given to them by Ace Combat 7 and Ace Combat Infinity.

Features:
– Fully animated jet nozzles and flame effect
– Reloading and tracking missiles
– Animated landing gear
– All functioning control surfaces
– Functioning airbrakes
– Togglable arrestor hook and folding wings
– Gib models

Found under [LVS] – RoyCombat in the "Entities" tab.

NOTE:

You must bring the wings forward from their swept position to take off. The plane’s throttle is limited for taxiing speeds otherwise.

If you want to open the wings quickly on the ground, you can quickly double tap the landing gear to raise and lower quick. The wings are automatically brought out by the gear being toggled.

The wings can be toggled in flight once the gear is retracted, which also allows the plane to fly faster.

FAQ:

Q – It doesn’t work/broken/has missing textures/no sound
A – Subscribe to the required items, be sure to restart the game at least once and actually let it load your workshop items. There’s no picking and choosing, you need the LVS – Planes base for this.

Otherwise, it’s likely LFS | Indev causing issues, based on reports.

Q – Why is it so big (physically)?
A – Because it is.

Q – Why is the addon itself kinda big?
A – I’ve tried to downscale it a little by removing a few duplicate skins between the B and D, but with my specific workflow, this is just what it comes out to between 3 planes and a lot of unique skins. In comparison, it’s greatly reduced considering the original size for all the materials was 1.23 GB.

Q – How can I make a skin for this?
A – Templates are out there for Ace Combat 7 models, can easily be found with a search.
Path to override skins if you haven’t started using submaterial instead yet
-> "models/roycombat/f14/f14a/override"
-> "models/roycombat/f14/f14b/override"
-> "models/roycombat/f14/f14d/override"

Q – Do you plan on making more aircraft?
A – Yep, just wait and be patient.

Q – Can you make plane X or Y?

Q – How do I turn of the Ace Combat-style HUD?
A – Set ‘cl_roycombat_tachud’ in your console to 0

None of my addons are to be edited or re-uploaded under under any circumstance.
