Information

Makes it so the AI will no longer exchange favor hooks with one-another for (random reason/bribe/item gift here) at grand weddings. This is because it can lead to situations where your player heir, for example, would rack up a lot of the hooks from attending and talking with your vassals. Next thing you know, your king dies, and you got 20 favor hooks from previous weddings, and all your vassals start changing their contracts/giving themselves council rights against your will since you’re the new king.


Mod Compatibility

The mod modifies 2 files related to weddings which are "ep2_wedding_events.txt" and "ep2_wedding_events_ewan.txt", so i’d be careful of any wedding mods that touch these files, as this might easily conflict with them.


FAQ

1. Can this be used in my current save? Can it also be removed without issues?

Answer: Yes, it only changes 2 files and these changes are reversible. As long as your game is up to date, it can be added and removed without issues.

2. Why do some of the wedding choices give small opinion boosts or give nothing?

Answer: I had to remove the ability to do any favor hooks, including the player’s options to get hooks on the AI. So some decisions may look off, but most should be fine and you can still role play :). I also didn’t want to separate the player and the AI’s ability to get those hooks because then I would need to somehow whitelist the player’s close family. That opens a whole new can of worms, of problems, so it’s not worth doing it for such a minor thing.
