Ivankiv, Ukraine
Situated along the Teteriv River, the town of Ivankiv, Ukraine would find itself in the center of international attention during what has become known as The Battle of Kyiv. The town played an early and important role in the brief campaign. Heavy and intense fighting occurred in the vicinity beginning on 24 February 2022. As the fighting around the town waned in the closing days of February, the town then gained internation recognition as the infamous Russian column was strung out along the highway leading from Belarus and the north.
*Designers note – I made the decision to focus my effort on creating the terrain in detail north and west of the Teteriv. A future release is always possible with the entire map completed.
