Empire Heavy Troops – Greatswords (Halberds) (Spears) (Shields)
This mod adds new Empire Tier 3 infantry options, equal in price and quality to Greatswords.
They’re recruited from the Tier 3 Barracks, the same building you get Greatswords from. The images above show stat comparisons versus normal halberdiers and spearmen (shields).
The units are:
Heavy Halberdiers (greatswords with halberds)
Imperial Spearmen (greatswords with spear and shield)
They are affected by skills and technology that enhances state troops and their own parent unit (halberdiers and spearmen respectively). They are not affected by skills and technology that affect greatswords.
This mod has had 0 balance testing, but I don’t see them being a problem. Feel free to let me know in the comments if there are any bugs or balance issues.
