[ES] Deluxe Security Station
This Mod introduces a Deluxe version of the Security Station to Surviving Mars. This replaces the ‘stock’ version, and is essentially identcal except that it now offers two new Upgrade options. These are unlocked from Mission start (like many of the building upgrades in the ‘Tropico’ series).
The first upgrade is the ‘Self Reliance Unit’. This allows the Security Station to operate without external Power, and without any requirement for Maintenance. The second upgrade is ‘Remote Viewing’, which reduces the staff requirements of the building by 1 Officer per shift.
The Mod will not work on previous saves. On loading, your existing Security Stations will be named ‘Deluxe Security Stations’, but the upgrades will not be available. As such, this Mod (and other [ES] Deluxe Buildings) should be used with new games.
[KNOWN ISSUE: The Build Menu and its tooltips still list the new building as ‘Security Station’. However, on selecting the building (and once constructed), it will correctly appear as a ‘Deluxe Security Station’ on the panel at the top-right of the screen.]
