The Welsh March Map
A 15x15km map representative of the extremely hilly, open country on the eastern side of Wales along the border with.England that once comprised the Welch Marches. This map uses real world elevation data from the region, with cover features idealized to produce a map that has an authentic feel but is a bit more remote and less populated than the modern real world area. This map was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of this region, with extremely open grazed fields, divided in parts by networks of tree hedges aligned to the curvature of the hills, but apart from these, open hills occasionally dotted with trees. There is some water on this map and bridges, and sufficient roads to permit mobility across the map.
