Description:

we’ve reached the 10th entry bros

Ceiling Construct is back yet again this month, revisiting its roots
This CC title features the return of the brick style layout maps, seen through CC1-CC4.

While it is short (somewhat) It makes up with a new concept inspired by some feedback:

FLASHBACK ROOMS

Flashback Rooms are spread across the map is semi located bubbles (They’ll be obvious to find.)
These flashback rooms are set on answering left over questions from ranging from CC4 to CC2.

CCX is all about the past and flashbacks with this one.

It also has blends of the modern titles aswell
The Phantom from CC5 returns as the major character / focus (bro alive??)
Containees also make a brief return as cameos, just like in CC3

CCX (CC10) takes place between CC3 and CC5. Do not play this title if you want to get spoiled on future CC5 plot points unless you like spoilers. If you have played CC5 (CC: Epilogue) before this, this will be right up your alley.

Anyways, onto the good stuff. No time for listing stuff

PART III ½: REBIRTH

The USRG, known as the United States Researchers Guild, having just moved from the Ceiling Communications Center thanks to a faulty electrical failure, is put into another Transfer Facility by the heads overseeing them.
Being transferred to a facility for a brief time wasn’t new to the USRG. As they had gone through this situation back when they first got their own independent building long ago.

Mr. Greer was given a brief instruction for how the new building’s layout would be like.
Unfortunately, a lot of the facility at this time was under construction, not being fully built unlike the first transfer facility they were stuck in.
Hazards made themselves known as workers were reported falling through the floors, roofs dripping and leaking, and thin, unstable walls often wobbling whenever stepping through a hallway.

When Mr. Greer asked his superiors if this was really safe for the workers, the superiors simply nodded and covered up the imperfections the facility had.

Workers moved in. They were not impressed with the building. Nobody was.
But, for the time being.. it had to do. There was nowhere to go.

Hazards kept popping up, injuring workers, and causing more harm to everyone around inside the building.
However, these "Hazards" workers kept describing almost seemed too good to be true. Some reported seeing when the roof leaked, streaks of blood seep through the cracks instead of rain.
An investigation was launched into these claims, and yet the "streaks" of blood were nowhere to be seen.

Several workers started to dissapear. It was all becoming more and more odd by the minutes.
Soon, days passed. Months flew by.

Mr. Greer was starting to get suspicious about his fellow workers dissappearances.
But before he could ever launch an investigation, Mr. Greer’s superiors rung him up, saying the next, stable Transfer Facility was ready to go.

The workers, exhausted of staying and working in this facility begged Mr. Greer to leave this place behind, in favor for more safer conditions.
Even if they knew several of their own dissappeared.

Reluctantly for the sake of his people, Mr. Greer agreed to go.
The workers and himself began packing, and soon.. left the unfinished facility behind.

-SEVERAL MONTHS LATER-

You are a USRG Employee. Something has compelled you to come back to find something you’ve left behind.
Traveling all the way to this location, opening the entry way, dust fills the air and the darkness within makes itself known. What can you find? You’ll never know until you step inside.

IT COMES FULL CIRCLE
——————————————————————————————————————
That’s about it.

Season 2 of CC is offically over, with CCX being a semi-epilogue

Ceiling Construct will be put on a break (atleast a month break) to focus on the Part 2 series, THE INFRASTRUCTURE.
THE INFRASTRUCTURE takes place 5 years after CC5. USRG will return in the leading story with major characters from CC1-CC5 coming back.

A new incarnation of the Phantom will also appear in this series and have a more sad motive
Stay tuned for that if you want to see more USRG Storyline / Post-CCV stuff.

It will have 7 chapters (Each chapter is one huge map per month). It will also be a collab project yet again (finally)
Currently set to be my biggest project in development. It will end the CC mythos and lore definitively (as it is the real story I had in mind since 2022)

INFRASTRUCTURE: PROLOGUE coming June 24th, 2024. If not, early July 2024

In case you are wondering what the next CC title will be after this break..

Next CC Title will be CCXI: Below the Depths. It is a Aftermath chapter to CC8, ending the Containee Storyline’s lingering questions (similar to CCX’s main concept)
After that will be the next CC Storyline: The BROKEN WORLDS Storyline. It will explore and show the effects of Project Opus (OP-44)’s effects on countless worlds. Shattering them or burning them.
CCXII, CCXIII, and CCXIV coming soon.

Beyond that will be the true final CC title. CCXV. It will end the CC series (NOT the story) Wrapping it together into a true epilogue. (true ending this time, most likely)

Past CC titles will be given "next-gen" Updates in the coming months / days to upgrade to this current version of PPG, along with the missing Lore updates for CC8, CC9
Thumbnails will also be streamlined to include the Roman Numerals

Feedback would be appericated to fine-tune and improve story elements, writing, plot holes, loose ends, or characters for the next CC Title, CCXI
For those who’ve been playing since CC1 or later, Thank you for playing CC1-CCX.

Enjoy, I guess
