Ceiling Construct VIII: Dead End
got bored, made CC8
the final part in the Containee Storyline, and is the last entry in the timeline (canonically, if there is one lmao)
the single most darkest CC title to date with in-game lore. Actual backstory for lore and makes the villain of the story (#20) have a intresting dynamic
Features a hidden "Lore Explained" log that helps decipher the ending, and other loose ends
of course, it isn’t the last CC title. That will be saved for CCX (unless I have a really good idea for another few titles)
features a more open map with more paths. A little bit small but bigger then CC7. There is also a "Main" path if you want to get to the end
Combines elements of the main CC titles by far:
-Hidden rooms / Paths introduced in CC1, later into CC5 and CC6
-Large map layout, seen in CC3, CC5, CC6 and CC7
Features these rooms:
-Containee Examination Room
-Containee Archives / Archival Room
-Interrogation Rooms / Containee Interview Rooms
-#20’s Underground Tunnel
-Vent System
-Containee Execution Chamber
-Containee Cargo Gate / Exit
-Overhead Gate System / Panel Room
-Reception Area
and several more rooms unrevealed, hiding within CC8
Enough talk, onto the finale for this storyline:
After the events of Ceiling Construct VII, #20’s manic state worsens. After finding the key to "salvation" to gain full control apon the Containee Center..
A group of ragtag rebel Containees, composed by both unbelievers of #20, and Containees caught in the middle, they begin trailing #20.
Dashing to the elevator leading to the ground floor, Containee #20 reaches the bottom floor of the facility.
Crashing on impact, #20 in a injured state stumbles into Floor 3. To prevent them from being hot on his tail, he hides out in several rooms where nobody would find him.
Finding and making a makeshift Hideout in one of the abandoned rooms, he patches himself up. Using only a radio to get a idea of where they are, #20 waits in his hideout.
A few days later, #20 leaves his hideout, ready to find the Containee Cargo Gate. Sneaking around the facility, #20 encounters several old faces on his way to his salvation and full control of the center.
Eventually, #20 makes his way to the exit control panel.. Little does he know that his key to salvation comes with a price.
Regardless..
The fate of the Containee Center hangs in the balance, as #20 reaches the end of the line in his journey.
That’s where you come in, yet again.
You are a containee who’s been following #20 closely. Close the chapter on this mystery, once and for all.

CC8 will be updated for a few days to add in more lore I didn’t have to have time to add in (stay tuned for that, if you want to see more in-game lore)
Stated prior, CC8 is the end (End of the Timeline, and the Containee Storyline of course). Containee Storyline is basically over.
However, CCIX.. the next CC build, will be a anthology on a failed batch of Containees, set between CCVI and CCVII
CCIX (CC9) and CCX (CC10) coming March 2024 and April 2024 respectively
Feedback would be appericated to fine-tune and improve story elements, writing, plot holes or characters for the next CC Title, CCIX
