Bastrod’s Rapa Nui
Begins the game in the Ocean. At the begining of a new Era, gain a burst of Science and Culture increasing with each Civilization that hasn’t Discovered you yet, and every Era that has passed.
Starts with Sailing and Shipbuilding unlocked and the ability to enter Ocean tiles. Improvements built along the Coast gain +1 Food and +1 Culture if adjacent to a Coastal Tile and/or a Moai, doubled if on Volcanic Soil. +1 Production on Coastal Tiles adjacent to a Moai.
The Mystic Tangata Manu of Rapa Nui, replaces the Skirmisher. Loses Ranged capabilities, but gains +10 Combat Strenght and +1 Movement, doubled when Embarked. Has 1 Build Charge to Gather Manu Tara Eggs with. Researching the Tangata Manu reveals the Manu Tara resource. Gathering the Manu Tara Eggs grants a boost of Faith and Food in your Capital, aswell as +1 Governor Title.
Improvement Unique to Rapa Nui, unlocked with Craftsmanship. +1 Culture. +1 Culture for every 2 adjacent Moai. +2 Culture if on or adjacent to a Volcanic Soil tile. +1 Culture if adjacent to a Coast or Lake tile . Additional Culture and Tourism as you advance through the Civics and Technology Tree. Can be built on Plains, Plains Hills, Grassland, Grassland Hills, or Volcanic Soil. Cannot be placed adjacent to a Woods or Rainforest tile.
