Description:

I have made many significant changes to my database compared to the last time:

1. New units: a engineering platoon (for the USSR and the USA).
2. Standard infantry units with an incomplete number of troops (simulation of combat losses in previous battles or understaffing). LC = light casualties, MC = medium casualties, HC = heavy casualties.
3. For the Soviet campaign, I decided to slightly increase the importance of the headquarters units. All headquarters are now subdivided into company HQ (former infantry HQ) and battalion HQ (former vehicle HQ). Their range has been significantly increased (the battalion HQ has twice as much), as well as the cost of the unit. In addition, commands delay is also proportionally increased for NATO and Warsaw Pact countries. Now the loss of headquarters units will be felt more significantly, and their impact on the gameplay is stronger.
4. The first cluster munitions for artillery appeared in the USSR in the early 1980s for the BM-27 Uragan MLRS (entered service with the Soviet Army in 1975). The first serial MLRS of the USA (M270) entered service in 1983. In addition, since 1975 the Soviet artillery has 24 guns and a 25% chance of MLRS at HE. Thus, a division of 152mm SP-howitzer (18 guns) and a MLRS BM-27 battery (6 guns) are simulated. This was taken into account in the "Factions" section.
5. The chain of command of the artillery. In the Soviet Army (as in the Russian One), you need to go through a lot of higher levels before you are allocated artillery support. This is shown in the database. Heavy Soviet off-map arty will now start firing no earlier than 6 minutes later (if TRP is used, of which there are only 4). The Soviet "On Map" Artillery is also aimed at the target more slowly than the American one. The ammunition of the Soviet arty has been increased by half. These changes simulate the firepower of artillery units (significantly greater for the Soviet army) and the efficiency of artillery support (much faster for the American army).
6. The armor parameters of the T-62 and M60 tanks used in my campaign have been slightly changed.

Maybe there is something else, but I don’t remember anymore 🙂
