More Characters Use DLC Interfaces
Welcome to More Characters Use DLC Interfaces. A little mod I quickly cobbled together which, as the name suggests, greatly expands the availability of the new interface designs added in the Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia flavour packs.
So, what does this mod change exactly? Well, I’m glad you asked:
The Northern Lords interface was only available to Norse characters, or characters that followed the Ásatrú religion and belonged to a culture with the North Germanic heritage. Now it is the default UI for all tribal characters, regardless of culture or religion (the only exception being Hellenic which, while considered unreformed, uses the Iberian interface instead). It is also used by characters with feudal and clan governments if they also follow an unreformed religion (again, except for Hellenic).
The Fate of Iberia interface was only available to characters belonging to a culture with the Iberian heritage. Now it is the default UI for the clan government, regardless of heritage or religion. It is also, along with Iberian, now used by any character that belongs to a culture which has the Latin, Byzantine, Arabic or Iranian heritage.
This is a very simple mod which should be perfectly safe to use with almost anything else, in any combination. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend using it with overhaul mods like A Game of Thrones since it likely messes with the HUD skins for custom cultures etc.
