[ES] Deluxe Grocer
This Mod introduces a Deluxe version of the Grocer to Surviving Mars. This replaces the ‘stock’ version, and is essentially identcal except that it now offers two new Upgrade options. These are unlocked from Mission start (like many of the building upgrades in the ‘Tropico’ series).
The first upgrade is the ‘Pharmacy Counter’. This provides a small Health boost to visiting Colonists, which can help to partially manage the needs of those with Chronic Conditions. The second upgrade is ‘Automated Checkouts’, which significantly reduce Visit duration, allowing Colonists more tiem to visit other buildings during their downtime.
The Mod will not work on previous saves. On loading, your existing Grocers will be named ‘Deluxe Grocers’, but the upgrades will not be available. As such, this Mod (and other [ES] Deluxe Buildings) should be used with new games.
[KNOWN ISSUE: The Build Menu and its tooltips still list the new building as ‘Grocer’. However, on selecting the building (and once constructed), it will correctly appear as a ‘Deluxe Grocer’ on the panel at the top-right of the screen.]
