This is the version of the ship that jrandall featured in his recent video however I think he confused my name with someone else’s. I trimmed down the stock-included shield parts and generators to add enough cpu room for turrets in the event you are playing with block limits enabled. Otherwise the ship would cost more CPU than you can feasibly get to spawn in. I removed the Artillery shown in the video as well because I meant to allow you to choose whatever weapons you want. The version I sent jrandall just happened to still have those in there. All the parts that I removed that were in the video you saw have spacing and lcd indicators for where to put them so they can still be added back in whatever configuration you prefer.

Here’s a link to the video where he takes a look at it:

Description
This is an updated version of the Supremacy ICD for Reforged Eden 1.8. The primary goal was to enable it to accommodate the new shield upgrades and Fusion generators. As I worked through it I wound up adding some additional storage and making other minor changes from the original (see below).

Please Note that this ship will spawn in turned OFF. This is because it requires 10 Aux Cores & 1 Quantum in it’s stock configuration. If you turn it on before adding Aux Cores and Quantums it will explode. Make sure to add these parts before fueling or turning on.

Stats

  • Size Class 25
  • 5.56M CPU
  • 45k Shield (Upgradeable to over 160k)

Changes from Original

  • Added Fusion Reactor to front hanger as well as spacing for a second (remove LCD to install)
  • Added spacing for 2x additional advanced generators in front hangar (remove LCD to install)
  • Added all 8 small shield parts to rear hangar
  • Added all 8 medium shield parts to front hangar
  • Added spacing for 4x Large shield parts to rear hangar (remove LCD to install)
  • Added 4x 640k storage to front hangar under the fusion reactor
  • Converted primary hull block from combat steel to regular steel (this can be changed using the replaceblocks command if desired). In Reforged this ship moved very slow with combat steel. Adding the shield parts only compounded that problem.
  • Beefed up armor in nose, and added additional decoys. This, combined with larger shield potential, should offset the lighter hull material.
  • Converted empty space room to Storage room with additional storage containers.
  • Converted weapons testing to Armory with additional storage containers
  • Added long range radar stock
  • Included the solar panels stock (this is partially because I noticed a lot of people in the comments of the original were confused about where they go)
  • Added 24x small solar panels bringing the total amount to 48 (Note: Solar helps, but you’re never gonna be idling and consuming zero power. The aux cores, and quantums consume too much idle power for that. You would need to find a bunch of RTGs to make this possible.
  • Removed all stock turrets because it will be cheaper to spawn and you were probably going to replace them with your preferred loadout anyway.
  • Added blocks in-place of retractable turrets with an R indicating those blocks can be removed and a retractable can be installed there. I did this because a LOT of the project eden turrets are not retractable, and need to be placed up front for range reasons. This way you can add either type to any turret location. Also it looked better than it would if I just removed the stock retractable turret and left the hole there 🙂
  • Named and organized cargo containers. All unnamed versions are titled RENAME (Volume), moved to bottom of list, and made a darker shade of grey to keep them from distracting you.
  • Added LCD indicators for where to install shield parts, fusion reactors, and additional advanced generators.
  • Relocated core next to last decoy generator. This was done intentionally to make it so the core will be destroyed with that decoy. This way your enemy will stop attacking you before you lose any important expensive parts (such as the aux cores / quantums). It’s worth noting however, that if you upgrade to an advanced core you will want to put it in the core room with the quantums because that is an irreplaceable item.

I hope this is ready for release. I wasn’t expecting jrandall to make a video about it (very nice of him). I was just looking for some feedback on discord. When I saw the video I kind of rushed to finish it because people were asking where they could find it in the comments. If you encounter any issues (something I forgot, etc) please let me know in the comments and I will fix it as soon as I can.
