[WOTC] XCOM Durability Overhaul
A collated set of changes intended to smooth out the difficulty curve of the game and encourage better target prioritisation.
The main changes involve converting a portion of XCOM soldiers’ health into armour, slightly reducing the damage of tier 2 ADVENT units, increasing the damage of Chosen and vanilla tier 3 ADVENT units, and buffing late-game alien explosives across the board.
I do not adjust enemy health or XCOM damage in any way with this mod, as I consider that the prerogative of other mods. After all, power is relative to the weapon and class mods you are using. I also do not adjust the force levels specific enemies come in at… maybe that can be my next target.
These tweaks are aimed at Legend difficulty – whilst the tweaks are compatible with other difficulty levels, I cannot promise that they will have the intended effect.

Mods not listed do not have any balance changes aimed at them. Either that means that I consider them balanced, that I do not play enough with that mod to determine their relative level of balance, or that I consider required balance changes not part of the scope of the mod (i.e. changing ADVENT HP or XCOM damage)

As far as compatibility goes, this mod is basically just a huge lump of config tweaks. If there’s a clash, it’ll just mean that some other mod loaded afterwards and replaced my values.
