Skimmer Heavy Freighter
Introducing the next ship in my line of Skimmer class ships. This was built as a heavy freighter to accommodate the War and Industry update to Reforged Eden and is a dedicated trading ship with X20 640K containers onboard. As this is just a freighter it is lightly armed with multiple flak turrets on the front and rear to defend against drones and maybe a few bandits here and there, this is not a combat ship in any way.
The cargo units are protected by steel blocks, armored heavy glass and shutters while the rest of the ship is just carbon substrate to save on weight. But does have a decent 20k shield capacity to tank incoming shots and protect your cargo.
Empty this thing is very very maneuverable but is designed that way so once loaded it can still move well. While empty there is a signal logic that disables the large drive thrusters called power save to save on fuel when not hauling anything.
This ship can be lived out of and comes with accommodations for those long haul treks sporting a large hydroponics farm, bedroom, and full medical along with a large hanger bay to house a decent size combat SV to protect the ship or venture from it.

Note: This ship is over the base 2.1 million CPU so will need extenders to operate and will be spawned turned off to avoid it exploding its generators.
