Tired of scruffy middle-aged men with terrible grooming practices? Does it bother you that in history most wars have been fought by young men, but in Armaverse that misfortune has been entirely outsourced to bloated daddy-like characters? Maybe, as a middle-aged man yourself, maybe you feel anxsious that fear someone takes inspiration and comes up with a clever idea akin to Project 100,000 but for Gen X instead – although your kids probably would argue there is little difference between the two and sending morons to battles has already proven to be a terrible idea.
Whatever your reasons might be, seek no further as Baby Faces provides modified textures and normal maps for vanilla and Apex characters to make them appear younger and gives them a shave. Some characters retain mustaches as military grooming standards generally permit them – the usual limiting factor being your comrades, as they might fear that you are going to snatch all the ladies which can compromise the team spirit.

This mod should go especially well with CW and WW2 era mods, because back then the grooming standards were more strict across the board and most armies relied on young conscripts rather than professional soldiers.

Ei hätää, sillä Baby Faces muuttaa rupisimman karjunkin silokkaaksi tissiposkeksi ja polkee ikähaitarin oikeaan nuottirekisteriin. Joillekin hahmoille on jätetty huulten yläpuolelle taktinen alapääharja, joilla voi teltassa kutitella joukkuetoverin kipinävahtiin – näin esimerkiksi.

Known issues:
– Not entirely happy with some of the Asian faces. I already adjusted the .rvmats and used different specular map, but I think there is still some room for improvement.
– Icons, overview picture and such were made in 10 minutes.
Future Plans:
– Contact faces once – or if – it becomes possible (the files are encrypted atm).
– Optional addon for custom faces that deviate further from the vanilla ones. Maybe.
