Description:
What you’re getting:
  • Craftable Crates:
    Various crates can now be crafted, but deconstructing will still not gain you any materials back.
  • Overhauled Carrying:
    Crates come with a new sideways sprite which allows carrying them like a normal human being would. No longer will you hold a crate weirdly next to your body. Instead you’ll carry it in front of you.
  • Dropped Interaction:
    Crates can now be opened when dropped by pressing your use button on them (Default "E") so you no longer have to pick them up to open their inventory.
  • Improved Sprites:
    The vanilla crate sprites are slightly overhauled to no longer have extruding pixels or one sharp and one round corner at the bottom. The magnetic suspension crate now also got a new and more fitting light, rather than that ugly green light component that appears out of nowhere.
  • Modded Crates:
    Also included you’ll find crates from mods that relied on the vanilla crate carrying behavior like DynamicEuropa’s construction material crate or Neurotrauma’s organ and starter crate. They can be crafted without issues, even if you don’t have these mods installed, however their functions may be limited until you install the corresponding mod.

    Small info about the "Radioactive Material Storage Crate" from Hazardous Reactors: It is now changed to only allow opening it with your use button while it is on the ground to support Enhanced Reactors gameplay compatibility by preventing putting fuel rods per drag and drop directly from the reactor into its inventory, forcing you to make use of fuel rod tongs and hazmat suits.

Load Order:

Put it at the very top of your load order!
– Immersive Crates
– Any other mod

Can be installed and removed from a campaign at any time.
