Description:

A tool that lets you edit your Garry’s Mod screenshots by applying effects and frames, and saving the edited versions.

Includes:
– Filters (such as black and white, vibrant, deep-fried and more)
– Frames (such as action-styled black bars, Garry’s Mod logos, seasonal frames, memes and more)

How to use:

  1. Take a screenshot using the Garry’s Mod camera SWEP. If you do not have the camera SWEP, type poster 1 into console.
  2. Open the screenshot editor using the context (C) menu if you are in Sandbox or a gamemode that supports the Sandbox context menu. If not, type screenshot_editor into the console.
  3. Select the screenshot you’d like to edit (the editor will select your most recently-taken screenshot by default), and use the left-hand controls to select your filter and frame.
  4. Click the save button at the bottom to save the screenshot, and the close button to close the editor.

Some tips to improve editing:

  1. Play on a 16:9 resolution. The frames were designed for a 1080p resolution, and should scale down and up just fine, but may look weird on other aspect ratios such as 4:3.
  2. Use the up and down arrow keys to quickly cycle through screenshots.
  3. You can type "_edit" into the search bar to quickly get all screenshots that have been edited.

The editor also includes a basic developer API so that addon creators may add their own filters and frames.
