Description:

"Imagine a rubber hazmat suit that when worn, completely transforms your body into something more feral, more mobile, and less human…"

This mod was made as a way of giving more use to the Tech Cards, and Upgrade Modules, while also adding some cute/functional latex costumes into the game!

Tech Suits add an alternative route in progression.

What EPPs and Armor can do, Tech Suits can do as well, with the bonus of improving mobility, and being upgradable.

The items you need can be purchased from the outpost Tech console.

This Mod adds the following:

The Tech Suit Station: Craft and modify Tech Suits, here. Suits and headgear can be modified with Tech Cards, armor can be improved with Upgrade Modules.

The Tech Suit Downgrader: Able to downgrade headgear so new upgrades can be installed. It is also capable of swapping armor classes, but only for post game Tech Suits.

Raptoid Tech Suit: Navigate through harsh terrain with ease. This Tech Suit grants the wearer improved speed and jumping power, with reduced fall damage!
Leg abilities can be upgraded to V10, using Tech Cards.

CAPR-1C0-RN Tech Suit: Swim with the grace of a dolphin. This Tech Suit increases swimming speed, later upgrades allow it to swim through poison and lava!
Leg abilities can be upgraded to V12, using Tech Cards.

Chiroptoid Tech Suit: flutter across the sky like a creature of the night. This tech suit allows the wearer to glide over obstacles by holding down jump. Later upgrades give it true flight, and improved mobility!
Leg abilities can be upgraded to V9, using Tech Cards.

For all Tech Suits: Headgear can be upgraded with 22 different augments, using Tech Cards.
Armor can be improved with Upgrade Modules and tiered items. They can be upgraded to tier 10.

Tech Suits can also be dyed.

There are 3 new codex entries that can be purchased at the outpost Tech console.

NOTES:

Not guaranteed to look right on modded species, specifically ones with modified arm locations.

Character Profiles will also not look right.

To Modders, and Artists:

This mod was just a concept I wanted to get out there, if any of you are thinking of expanding on this idea, you are welcome to do what ever you want.

ONE LAST NOTE:

This will be the last Starbound mod I will upload for now. I may return with some minor updates to existing mods, but other than that I’m done.
