Description:

This mod reskins and reconfigures in-game companies with the goal to bring as many real companies with biggest freight transportation presence in Europe. Includes real companies skins for the trailer, billboard, road signs, logo, for bigger companies also warehouse and gas stations.

Q. Does it work with 1.50?

A. Yes.

Q. Are DLCs also covered?

A. All companies introduced with DLCs to base game and Going East! DLC are replaced by this mod.
For companies that are DLC only check out relative mod pages:

Q. Can you give some more details?

A. Sure 😉 here they are:

  1. Reassigns all* default companies to some real ones that are leaders in that particular sector in freight expeditions (* also see "What’s still to do?"). To find this assignments it took rellay long long long long time:

    Base game:

    • ai -> (cars) -> Volkswagen Group
    • bcp -> (industrial vehicles rent) -> CRAMO
    • charmey -> (chocolate) -> Lindt
    • cnp -> (petrol and derivative) -> OMV
    • container_port -> (shipping) -> MAERSK
    • domdepo -> (bricolage) -> Leroy Merlin
    • euroacres -> (food farm) -> Unilever
    • eurogoodies -> (consumables) -> METRO
    • fcp -> (industrial vehicles rent) -> CLAAS
    • ika_bohag -> (furniture) -> IKEA
    • itcc -> (chemical and industrial) -> Leibherr
    • kaarfor -> (consumables) -> Carrefour
    • kathode -> (electronics) -> Siemens
    • lkwlog -> (logistic) -> DHL
    • nbfc -> (petrol and derivative) -> Shell
    • posped -> (logistic) -> GLS
    • quarry -> (minig) -> UEPG
    • renat -> (home) -> JYSK
    • rt_log -> (railway logistic) -> DB Cargo
    • sanbuilders -> (builders) -> ORCO
    • scout -> (cars) -> Skoda
    • sellplan -> (consumables) -> Auchan
    • shuttle -> (food) -> Coca Cola
    • stokes -> (logistic) -> DACHSER
    • tradeaux -> (logistic) -> FedEx
    • trameri -> (cement and aggregates) -> Holcim
    • transinet -> (logistic) -> TNT
    • tree_et -> (sawmill) -> Stora Enso
    • wgcc -> (petrol and derivative) -> BASF

    Scandinavia:

    • bhv -> (mixed car dealer) -> AutoScout 24
    • gnt -> (logistic) -> NTG
    • ns_chem -> (chemical) -> Lukoil
    • ns_oil -> (refinery) -> Equinor
    • polarislines -> (shipping) -> Stena Line
    • renar -> (logistic) -> DFDS Logistics
    • vitas_pwr -> (windmil) -> Vestas

    France:

    • batisse -> (contruction materials) -> Saint-Gobain
    • bhv -> (mixed car dealer) -> AutoScout 24
    • fle -> (air logistics) -> Air France Cargo
    • lisette_log -> (logistic) -> Bolloré Logistics
    • voitureux -> (car manufacturer) -> Groupe PSA

    Italy:

    • aci -> (air logistics) -> Alitalia Cargo
    • cargotras -> (logistic) -> BRT S.p.A.
    • cesare_smar -> (consumables) -> IperCoop
    • libellula -> (motorcycles) -> Vespa
    • spinelli -> (tyres) -> Pirelli
    • tesore_gust -> (food production) -> Barilla Group
    • eolo_lines -> (shipping) -> Grimaldi Lines

    There are complete detailed handcrafted skins for each company (trailer, billboard, logo) and the biggest one has also skin for warehouse (METRO, DHL, GLS, DACHSER, FedEx and TNT).
    I’ve also tuned many of goods that companies can ask you to deliver to match better their real core businesses. For example:

    • EuroAcres (Unilever) will ask you to deliver also Oranges, Cheese and Rice;
    • TransiNet (TNT) will not ask you to deliver the industrial type of goods like Pipes, Coal, Petrol, Diesel, Cement, Diggers, Excavators etc…;
    • BCP (CRAMO) will not ask you to deliver Mondeos but will ask for Excavators.

  2. Gas station distribution is based on "Operating income" of "Supermajors" from wiki:
    1. E – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExxonMobil
    2. S – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Dutch_Shell
    3. B – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BP
    4. T – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_S.A.

    This data leads to this distribution of Gas Stations:

    • Exxon has them all;
    • Shell has the big and normal;
    • BP has big and small;
    • Total has normal and small.

    Results produce this table of gas stations of different sizes:

    1
    2
    3

    Small
    E
    T
    B

    Normal
    E
    S
    T

    Big
    E
    S
    B

    All stations are made equal to their real instalments as close as it’s possible without altering the Gas Station prefab model.

Q. What’s going on?

A. Work in progress on adding support to companies introduced to the base game after DLCs release.

Q. What’s still to do?

A. Stein Brunch is now assigned to UEPG that stands for "Union Européenne des Producteurs de Granulats" and translates to "European Aggregates Association". Aggregates are sand, gravel (including marine aggregates), crushed rock, recycled and manufactured aggregates. This is quite a good fit but it’s still an association of companies and not a single company. If you have another alternative that is the best fit for Stein Brunch, please post your suggestions in the discussions section below.

Q. Proper billboard needed?

A. Many new companies have a custom billboard, to be replaced they need a custom 3D model and I don’t know how to do them. Any help here is appreciated. For IKEA and Vestas, I’m currently incorporating 3D building sign models by Tamiel18, full credits to him for this.

Q. Can I contribute?

A. Sure! Post your suggestions for DLCs local well-established companies in the discussion below.

Q. Is there any other mod included?

A. No.

Q. And the more important question, how to install it?

A. Click "Subscribe" button and it will be downloaded, then activate it in the game with "Mod Manager".

Q. Can I make a donation to support your creations?

A. Sure! And you have more than one way to do so:

  • You can use PayPal donation:
    [www.paypal.com]
  • You can support me on Patreon:
    Patreon[patreon.com]
