X – Impassable Barricades
The mod makes barricades impassable, and increases the effectiveness of the shelter to 80%. In fact, it turns them into embrasures. The mod also removes the penalty to the beauty of the barricades (because I wanted to).
This is a snippet from my other mod “X – Reliable Fortifications” https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3129472273. It occurred to me that a lot of people don’t want the rebalancing of walls, doors, prison bars and mountains and would only want useful barricades. That’s why I released this mini-mod.
Not compatible with “X – Reliable Fortifications”. The mod’s impact on the game is minimal, so you can put it in and remove it whenever you want, there shouldn’t be any problems.
If you enable developer mode and restart the game, you may see a red message “impassable, player-buildable building that can be shot/seen over”. Ignore it, it’s not a bug. The text literally says that the mod does what it’s supposed to do. It’s just that the game author really doesn’t want players to have embrasures, so he added this error message in version 1.5. Do not pay attention to it, play as you like.

I know some people don’t like the pictures drawn by the AI. There’s no need to let me know that. Yes, the pictures are imperfect, but I like them, and that’s what matters. If it’s that important to you, you can always give a negative rating to the mod. I politely ask not to insult my cats – such comments will simply be deleted. Remember that mod authors do not owe anyone anything.
