Sikhism Immersion
Sikhism has few bonuses/ mechanics compared to other religions, playing it leaves you a humanist military nation, which will get occasional notifications that a new guru is appointed and then you proceed to click some buttons to add bonuses. A very dull feel for a religion during its formation in the EU4 time-frame. In time, this mod will give Sikhism an alive, flavorful and diverse feel.
As of yet adds bonuses to the Sikh Gurus and edits their teachings.
I have yet to add events and tie them to the ‘election’ of each Guru sahib. After this, I plan to add —
-events regarding the guru’s life that would possibly change the teachings, introducing teachings after some time rather than a selection screen and possibly a system to maintain the teachings as well.
-bigger religious mission tree to Sikhism
-Several estates specific to Sikhism- Nihangs, Udasis, Nirmalas etc
-Editing EU4 scenarios 1762 onwards to create an accurate scenario of the Sikh misls and implement the misl politics
-1790’s scenario for Maharaja Ranjit Singh and him cementing his rule
-1710’s scenario for Baba Banda Singh ‘bahadur’ to implement his rebellion and invasion of the Panjab
All of these scenarios will feature new nations, decisions mission trees, and hopefully regional mechanics. If not regional mechanics then the mission tree introduces different playstyles, kind of like the ones introduced in the latest DLC.
I’m new to modding and have implemented a fraction of my ideas due to my limited skill. If anybody is capable and interested get in touch, I would be also interested in making immersion/flavor mods for India.
