Samurai Shin Guards
This mod adds a new set of medium plate footwear, "Samurai Shin Guards". It does not replace the samurai boots.
I never liked the look of the samurai boots so I never used them. This is my first mod ever and also my first time doing 3D modeling and painting textures. Creating this mod consisted of A LOT of trial and error, but had a fun time learning to use blender and image editing software.
Features
- A less bulky alternative to Samurai Boots that are specifically modeled to fit well with Samurai Pants/Cloth Pants
- New custom painted texture that pairs well with other colors of the Samurai Set
- Most shops selling samurai gear will also sell these, along with blueprints for crafting
- Distributed to characters all over Kenshi where it made sense, did not outright replace the samurai boots in most cases (for heavily armored characters etc)
- NCE built in
I appreciate all feedback and pointers to help me on my new journey of modding Kenshi. There are more projects in the works and I hope to share them soon.
I recommend Samurai Boots Fix by "RO RO RO RO RO RO" aswell, makes the Samurai Boots a little less hard on the eyes.
