Description:

Rebalance mod for EPOE 2.24. Load after EPOE.

What it does:

1) Fixes some broken items from Vanilla EPOE. E.G. you can actually use Patch Eye – it used to reduce your colonist’s sight even further. Now all it does is that it covers the hole in one’s eye to prevent the "Disfigured" debuff. As intended.

2) Tweaks resource requirements and effectiveness of EPOE items, making them more vanilla-like. EPOE had a huge power shift between low-tier and high-tier bionics. High-tier bionics are toned down.

Bionic parts will have higher resource requirements, at the same time prosthetic parts rarely require Plasteel, making them easier to craft in the early game (at the same time, they require more components).

Just like in Vanilla Rimworld, low-tier bionics require Advanced Components, making prosthetic viable for a longer period of time. High tier bionics require lots of Advanced Components.

Surrogate organs got a slight buff, as they (especially lung with that nasty 10% movespeed debuff) were underwhelming. Synthetic organs are mostly untouched and are comparably cheap as a result.

Most of the items give buffs based on part efficiency and not on external bonuses. There are some exceptions. E.G. Advanced bionic spine gives speed boost, while Exoskeleton gives manipulation boost instead to make them differ and have both as viable options.

3) Prices are more logical and based on what item is made of.

In Vanilla EPOE, advanced bionics had ridiculous prices despite being relatively cheap to make. I’ve tried to make everything look OK.

Harvested organs are cheaper again and closer to Vanilla values. You can still get ridiculously rich by harvesting everyone, but by a slower degree.

Compability:

Should not break anything dependent on EPOE, as it only alters the values of existing stuff. If any other mod alters EPOE, load it after mine.
