Based on the Nintendo Pokémon franchise, each player becomes a Pokémon Trainer, making his way around the pre-made board map to get to Indigo Plateau where he can challenge the current reigning Pokémon Champion to a battle with the Pokémon he’s collected on the trip there. Item Cards give you or your creatures special powers and players can battle each other as well.

Yes, Kinda. We’ve made 2 changes to the original to balance when you have more than 3 players.

1. Clefairy, Meowth, & Pikachu have been removed as starter Pokémon – Machop, Ghastly, & Abra have replaced them, with their evolutions balanced to match.
2. Added multiple choice options to the "Pokémon Center" & "Let’s Fight!" Event Cards to increase their usage.

Yes. This Workshop runs 3 main scripts:

1. Setup Script: Pick your Region, Generations, and Expansions. The script will do the rest!
2. Deal Script: Automatically refill empty GameBoard spaces with a single click!
3. Gym Script: Pick your Rival & the script will automatically set them up to battle you!
