The Socialist Republic of Pojezersko
The workers of Pojezersko have recently took power and decided to transform their motherland into a socialist republic. Their country is not an empty land – it contains dozens of villages, towns and even a capital city. The settlements are not only a groups of buildings standing in the middle of nowhere. Since the country is mostly rural, majority of people live in villages and work on their field, which are close to their homes. Some towns however are more developed and even have some basic industry. Electricity, running water or sewage system and other ammenities are mostly non-existent apart from the major cities. The country has plenty of resources but only some of them have been discovered and exploited so far. It is a big challenge for the scientists of the new republic to find and them and start their extraction.
The country of Pojezersko is fairly flat with few hills and handful of mountains, especialy in the border regions. The centre of the map is occupied by a big lake that makes transit between east and west of the country harder, but also allows for maritime transport. There few island and peninsulas on the lake which could have some valuable resources. Be careful though for they are close to the dangerous borders of the West.
