Better Mazdmundi and Slanns
The Slanns are already insanely good lords, considered to be even better than a lot of legendary ones just because of their magic casting capabilities. But it always bothered me that they did not have anything to really boost them, just more points in a few spells (like earthblood). Also, Greater Arcane Conduit always felt a bit less interesting than the regular version for me (yes, I know it is more powerful), because it is less interactive, so I tried to correct these two "problems" at the same time by giving Greater Arcane Conduit a passive reducing the cost of spells and their cooldowns. I also boosted some of the WoM reserve skills of Slanns because a skill point for only 8 WoM always felt a bit wasted for me.
Mazdamundi is already a great caster and, with my modified Greater Arcane Conduit, would be a beast but his spells have always felt inappropriate to me. No vortex spells for the best caster of the Lizardmen race ? Spells from the lore of light that Slanns can’t get ? Quite a strange combination. His item is also a bit weak in my opinion and the man (or toad) himself has always lacked a factionwide boost of some sort to really give the "leader of Lizardmen" vibe. So I changed his spell-tree a bit, gave him the same modification as Slanns and gave him a public order faction bonus on his item as well as a faction wide WoM cost reduction in his innate passive to really make him the specialised caster lord. Also I boosted Zlaaq because he is the biggest and strongest Stegadon alive.
Changes made :
Slanns :
– More mass
– Modified Greater Arcane Conduit
– More WoM reserves with their Skill Tree
Mazdamundi :
– Slightly better melee stats
– Slightly higher health
– More mass
– Changed his 3 casting passives for : Fire, Life and High
– His spell tree is now a mix of Fire, Life, High and Heavens (instead of Light, High and Heavens)
– Replaced a few support spells (net of Amentok and apotheosis) with damage spells (piercing bolts of burning and chain lightning)
– Replaced his "main" spell (first one) with Earthblood
– Replace Comet of Cassandora by Deliverance of Itza 2 (because he is supposed to have been instructed/trained by Lord Kroak himself)
Zlaaq :
– Higher melee stats
– Bigger
– More mass
– Higher hit points
Compatibility : Anything that does not change the stats of Mazdamundi and the Slanns should be ok. If there is any problem, don’t hesitate to contact me.

This mod is going to be part of a serie of mods that I am currently working on, aiming to "rebalance" (buff) certain factions to be more logical and consistant with their lore capabilities. It will NOT be a balanced serie of mods and the different races will clearly not perform at the same level. Consequently, I will divide this serie into races and each race will have their own modpack to buff certain units (like here with only Mazdamundi and the Slanns) so that you all can choose your prefered race and go to town with it or choose a challenge and go full madman against races designed to be more powerful.
