Description:

This, my very second attempt at my very first mod, simply re-balances the
Waist Bag along the changes GenMod made to vanilla backpacks to
help it stay competitive and set it apart in a unique way.

–CHANGES–
– increased encumbrance reduction from 30% to 70% to emphasize the
more comfortable weight distribution in combat
– increased stackable bonus multiplicator from 3 to 10, same as the
Thieves Backpack
– reduced storage size from 16×10 to 10×8, just a tad more than the
Small Thieves Backpack
– reduced inventory footprint from 3×5 to 3×4
– increased weight from 3 to 4kg (Small Thieves Backback weighs 1kg)
– increased the cost from c10.000 to c15.000
– all other stats remain exactly the same
– because I like you all I.. "neatified?" its in-game description.

This puts the Waist Bag somewhere in-between the regular and Small
Thieves Backpack in terms of storage capacity. By design it also loses
the ability to store heavy weapons but the 70% encumbrance reduction
once again make it a viable high tech option for your thieves, martial
artists and those not having a lot of carry weight to play around with due
to heavy armor. In short, it’s now the ideal high tier courier bag, which is
why I also increased the cost by 50%

IMPORTANT! Make sure to put this BELOW External Muscle Suit in your mod load order.

This is not a standalone mod!
You will need seina’s "External Muscle Suit"
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1406192034

While not necessary, I highly recommend using "General Modifications"
by Seelenschwarz. Without GenMod the changes I made to the Waist
Bag are ridiculously imbalanced.

"But I don’t like these changes! D:", you say.
– Tough luck but because I am such a wonderful person I’ll tell you how to
make your own changes, hah!

1. Go to your "…Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent233860" folder.
This is the Kenshi AppID. Every mod in there also has its very own ID. In
the case of the External Muscle Suit it is 1406192034 (you’ll see the ID of
each mod at the end their URL).

2. Copy that folder and paste it to "…SteamsteamappscommonKenshimods" and rename it to "external_muscle_suit". This is important!
The folder name has to match the name of the mod file inside that same
folder!!11!11!!! << notice just how important? That’s right. Very important!

2a. Do the same for GenMod (1222324217) if you want Seelenschwarz’s
changes to backpacks for referance later on.

3. Navigate back to your Kenshi installation folder and run the "forgotten
construction set.exe". Alternatively choose "Launch Game Editor" when you
launch it via your steam library.

4. Enable both GenMod and External Muscle Suit and make sure EMS is
the "ACTIVE" mod.

5. In the "Game World" window that opens up next navigate to ItemsBags
and open "Ex Waist Bag", there you’ll find all the juicy stats that you may
or may not agree with and can change them to your liking. Create your
very own Bag of Holding!

6. Save the thing and worship* me down in the comment section as your
Almighty Feline Overlord!

*worship is mandatory. I accept offerings of coffee.

special thanks to Seelenschwarz for their invaluable contribution to the
